Traffic:
July 16, 2019 at 4:15 p.m. Police received a complaint of a possible impaired driver on Highway 7 near Saskatoon. The caller advised that the vehicle was swerving over the centre line. Police conducted patrols, but were unable to locate any vehicles matching the description provided. July 16, 2019 at 10:30 p.m. Police received a complaint of a 2 vehicle accident on Highway 16 near Langham. Police attended and arrested a 34 year old male from Langham. He was arrested and released on documents for an upcoming court date on assault related charges. The 42 year old female in the vehicle was not injured. The 24 year old male driver of the second vehicle received minor injuries. Both vehicles required towing from the scene. July 17, 2019 at 10:10 Police received a complaint of an erratic semi on Highway 7 near Harris. Police conducted patrols of the area and located the semi. Police issued a ticket to the 36 year old driver of the semi from Saskatoon for driving without due care and attention. July 19, 2019 at 12:25 a.m. Police received a complaint of a possible impaired driver on Highway 11 near Saskatoon. Police stopped the vehicle and spoke with the 57 year old female from Saskatoon. She was taken back to the Detachment to provide a breath sample. She was released a short time later for an upcoming court date on impaired driving related charges. There were no injuries. July 19, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. Police received a complaint of a vehicle in the ditch on Highway 11 near Warman. Police attended the location and spoke to the 58 year old male driver from Prince Albert. It is believed that weather played a factor in the vehicle going into the ditch due to the heavy rain. The vehicle was towed from the ditch. There were no injuries or charges. July 20, 2019 at 2:30 a.m. Police conducted a traffic stop on Railway Street in Warman when they located an impaired driver. They arrested the 42 year old female from Warman. She was taken back to the Detachment to provide a breath sample. She was released a short time later for an upcoming court date on Impaired driving charges. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

July 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Police received a complaint of theft of a vehicle from the RM of Corman Park. The vehicle was located a short time later near Asquith. A 46 year old male from Manitoba was located driving the vehicle. He was arrested and released on documents a short time later on possession of stolen property related charges.
People:
July 15, 2019 at 8:45 p.m. Police received a complaint of a suspicious person in a vehicle in Martensville. The caller reported that there was a person in a vehicle in a parking lot & it seemed suspicious. Police attended the location and spoke to the 36 year old female from North Battleford. She was in the vehicle waiting for a friend to return. There were no charges. July 18, 2019 at 6:30 a.m. Police received a complaint of a suspicious person in Martensville. The caller felt that the male might be intoxicated. Police conducted patrols and located a 32 year old male from Martensville asleep on a lawn. He was provided a ride home to his residence to be looked after by a family member. There were no charges. July 18, 2019 at 9:45 a.m. Police received a complaint of a male sitting along Highway 11 near Warman. Police attended the scene and spoke with the 28 year old male from Monteal Lake. He was found to have outstanding warrants from Saskatoon. He was arrested and taken to Saskatoon Police service for execution and processing of his outstanding charges. July 20, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. Police received a complaint of mischief on Highway 12 near Martensville. The caller reported that a vehicle was chasing them and had them boxed in on the highway. The caller advised that the people were damaging their vehicle. Police attended and arrested a 47 year old female from Pelican Lake First Nation and a 31 year old male from Martensville. They were released a short time later on mischief and assault related charges. There were no injuries. Warman RCMP that the SASKATCHEWAN CRIME WATCH ADVISORY NETWORK is operating . Everyone is invited to attend. Section 212(4) of the Traffic Safety Act refers: fail to stop 5 m from the front of a school bus that has its safety lights and stop arm in operation. The fine for this infraction is $360.00. The playground at Prairie Oasis Park will get an upgrade in 2019. A portion of the existing structure will remain; however, a new accessible playground with a pour in place rubber surface will be added by the end of October 2019.

The RFP for the Accessible Playground Project closed on June 26, 2019 for the supply and install of an accessible playground structure with a pour in place rubber fall zone. The scope of the work presented in the RFP were as follows:
The City of Warman has taken the liberty of reaching out a number of resources, including Sask Abilities Council, Camp Easter Seal, City of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan Parks & Recreation Association (SPRA) and Saskatoon Health Region for their opinion on the designs and styles to consider. Warman City Council approved the project at the Regular Meeting of Council, July 15, 2019.

2019-07-08 at 9:30 a.m. Police received a complaint of a stolen vehicle leaving Saskatoon northbound on Highway 12. Police conducted patrols of the area and located the truck. A group of youths were inside of the truck and were taken into custody. They were released a short time later on charges of theft and possession of stolen property charges. There were no injuries. July 8, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. Police received a complaint of a possible impaired driver on Centennial drive south in Martensville. The caller reported that the driver was swerving all over the road. Police conducted patrols of the area, but were unable to locate any vehicles matching the description provided. July 8, 2019 at 8:20 p.m. Police received a complaint of a vehicle failing to stop at a stop sign in Martensville. Police located the 19 year old male driver from Yorkton and issued him a ticket for failing to stop at a stop sign. July 11, 2019 at 3:25 p.m. Police received a complaint of a 2 vehicle accident on Highway 305 near Dalmeny. Police attended and issued a ticket to an 85 year old male driver for failing to obey a stop sign. There were no injuries. July 12, 2019 at 7:50 a.m. Police received a complaint of a 2 vehicle accident on Highway 305 near Dalmeny. Police attended the scene and found that a vehicle failed to stop due to a downed stop sign. The stop sign was put back into place to prevent further accidents at that location. There were no charges or injuries. July 12, 2019 at 4:15 p.m. Police received a complaint of a possible impaired driver on Central street in Warman. The caller was concerned that a person who left a business there was driving while impaired. Police conducted patrols of the area, but were unable to locate any vehicles matching the description provided. July 12, 2019 at 8:10 p.m. Police received a complaint of an impaired driver on Valley Road near Saskatoon. The 24 year old male driver from Saskatoon was taken back to the Detachment to provide a breath sample. He was released a short time later for an upcoming court date on impaired driving charges. There were no injuries.

July 11, 2019 at 10:15 a.m. Police received a complaint of theft of construction equipment from a business near Osler. The caller advised that they just noticed the equipment missing recently. Investigation into this matter is ongoing. July 11, 2019 at 1:40 p.m. Police received a complaint of an attempted break in to a business in Martensville. The caller reported that no entry was gained to the property.
People:
July 8, 2019 at 6:15 p.m. Police received a complaint of an intoxicated male walking on Highway 11 near Saskatoon. Police conducted patrols of the area and located a 39 year old male from Big River First nation. He was not intoxicated, but rather just tired from walking. He was provided a ride to a safe location as he requested. There were no charges. July 9, 2019 at 10:50 a.m. Police received a complaint of a hitch hiker in medical distress on Highway 11 near Warman. Police attended the location and spoke with the 34 year old male from Cumberland House. He was not in medical distress, but he was thirsty. He was provided a ride to a safe location. There were no charges or injuries. July 9, 2019 at 4:15 p.m. Police received a complaint of 2 people sleeping in the ditch along Highway 11 near Warman. Police attended the location and spoke to the 34 year old female and the 44 year old male, both from One Arrow First Nation. They were attempting to walk home. They were provided a ride to a safe location. There were no charges or injuries. July 10, 2019 at 8:45 p.m. Police received a complaint of a large group of people causing a disturbance in Warman. The caller advised that the people were stunting in their vehicles, causing a disturbance. Police attended the location and issued a ticket to an 18 year old male from Saskatoon for driving without a valid drivers license. The vehicle was seized and towed from the scene. July 11, 2019 at 3:10 p.m. Police received a complaint of an intoxicated male laying in the parking lot of a church in Warman. Police attended the location and arrested the 64 year old male from Duck Lake. He was lodged in police cells until he was sober. July 13, 2019 at 6:30 a.m. Police received a complaint of a possible assault at a residence in Asquith. Police attended the residence and arrested a 23 year old male from Asquith. He was released on documents for an upcoming court date on Assault charges. The 23 year old female was not injured. Free Fishing Lures: During the month of July, Tourism Saskatchewan and Sask Parks will be giving away free fishing lures during Sask Parks programming at many provincial parks. All summer long, recipients are encouraged to take a photo with their catch and new lure for a chance to win a prize! Before the end of August, contest participants can submit their photos to the SaskParks Facebook page for their chance to win a $200 Cabela’s giftcard. Take a Hike Challenge: Saskatchewan Parks will be hosting a “Take a Hike” Challenge in all provincial parks on July 20, Canada Parks Day. Participants are encouraged to track their steps using a pedometer and then submit a screenshot of their total steps to the SaskParks Facebook page for a chance to win one of three prize packs. Sask Parks Learn to Fish: The Sask Parks Learn to Fish program is back by popular demand and offers an opportunity for new or interested anglers to learn the art of fishing from Jeff or Jason Matity, two local Saskatchewan fishing experts and hosts of Matity’s GetFishing.com and YouTube channel. This program will be offered at Moose Mountain, Duck Mountain, Saskatchewan Landing and Buffalo Pound Provincial Parks. Hoop Dancer perfomances: New to Sask Parks this year, performer Terrance Littletent will perform in Meadow Lake Provincial Park during this week of celebration. Terrance is an accomplished grass and hoop dancer and will be sharing his gift of dance, song and narrative during Parks Week and throughout the summer. Saskatchewan Express: Returning to Sask Parks, Saskatchewan Express will be performing their timeline series “Reel Music”, a show packed with the most iconic soundtracks from Hollywood’s best films including Jaws, Titanic and A Star is Born.
