Hometown Author Launches Third Children's Book

Did you know that Warman is home to an award-winning published children’s author? Kristin Pierce, founder of Inner Compass Books, is launching her third children’s book, Magnus O’Meere, Mind Pioneer on Saturday, January 11, 11:00 am at McNally Robinson in Saskatoon. Stop in to meet Kristin, enjoy a reading from Magnus O’Meere, Mind Pioneer, take part in a fun activity and get your signed copy of this wildly imaginative book!

Kristin Pierce is a self-awareness educator whose mission is to empower others to rise to their potential by learning how to deconstruct limiting beliefs, shift perspectives, and expand awareness of mind, body and self. Pierce lives in Warman with her husband and two children, and founded Inner Compass Books in 2018 with a goal to create mindfully crafted children's books with empowering learning messages. She wants to share the idea that we all have an inner knowing, often referred to as ‘intuition’ or an ‘inner compass,’ that we can use to navigate through life. “My desire was to incorporate positive and empowering learning messages that show the potential that lies within self-reflection, perseverance, and the courage to follow one’s inner compass,” Pierce says.

Picture
Pierce’s first book, Your Inner Compass That Could, is about using and learning to trust intuition, letting inner wisdom lead the way, while navigating the magical adventure of life. Her second book, Mayva O'Meere, Creationeer, winner of the Nautilus award, is meant to spark the desire of creation and letting imagination run free, with many historic art references. Book three, Magnus O’Meere, Mind Pioneer highlights the incredible power of the mind along with intuition, presenting some of the most magnificent Mind Pioneers of our time, including da Vinci, Mozart, Ada Lovelace, Tesla, Einstein, and more. Watch for a fourth book later this year, Hazel Mist, Hypnotist – a further exciting exploration of the workings of the mind.

Have an inquiring mind and make your own rules. Many mind pioneers were once thought to be fools. But they shattered the limits and blazed their own trails. You can't change the world if you're too scared to fail."

As a MindScape Instructor, an Advanced Certified BodyTalk Practitioner, a BodyTalk Access Instructor, a Registered Massage Therapist, a trained acupuncturist, with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Medicine, Kristin Pierce knows what she’s talking about when it comes to ideas on intuition and the power of the mind. Intution is the idea that we can make successful decisions without deliberate analytical thought, instead going by a gut feeling or a hunch. Every one of us has this ‘innate wisdom’ or in-born guidance, and when nurtured from a young age, it can grow. Pierce explains, “Imagination, creativity and intuition are the magic dust that ideas are born from. These skills allow us to dream up new possibilities, think outside-the-box, spark new connections, open our minds, and break new ground. Kids have the most incredible ability to acces these skills when they are young, and I truly believe that when a love and understanding of intuition is fostered, it will change the world.”
Meet Kristin at the book launch and signing on Saturday and get your copy of each of the Inner Compass books. You can also pick them up locally at Diamond Centre Pharmacy in Warman, or order from Innercompassbooks.com or Amazon. Support our hometown author, and share these books with your whole family, encouraging them to find their passion, dream big, think outside the box, and believe in themselves, all while trusting their inner knowing.
