Police received 174 calls for service from July 22, 2019 to July 29, 2019.
Traffic:
July 22, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. Police received a complaint of a motorcycle accident on Highway 16 near Radisson. The 56 year old male driver of the motorcycle from Maidstone received minor injuries. He was transported to hospital by STARS for treatment of his injuries. July 22, 2019 at 9:00 p.m. Police received a complaint of a vehicle stunting on a grid road in the RM of Corman Park. Police were tied up on priority calls and unable to attend. There were no further calls received regarding the vehicle. July 25, 2019 at 5:50 p.m. Police received a complaint of a 2 vehicle accident on Highway 12 near Martensville. Police attended and found that a vehicle driven by 64 year old male from Saskatoon lost control and struck a vehicle driven by a 33 year old male from Martensville. Both drivers were transported to hospital for treatment of their injuries. Both vehicles required towing from the scene. July 27, 2019 at 11:30 p.m. Police received a complaint of a 2 vehicle accident in Warman. Police attended and found that a female youth from Warman struck a car. The youth was issued a ticket for driving without due care and attention. There were no injuries.
Property:
July 23, 2019 at 9:10 a.m. Police received a complaint of a break in to a property in the RM of Corman Park. Police attended the property and found that a number of items were taken. Investigation into this matter is ongoing. July 23, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. Police received a complaint of a fire at an apartment complex in Martensville. Police attended along with Dalmeny, Warman and Martensville Fire Department. Police assisted with traffic control in the area. Investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
People:
July 23, 2019 at 11:15 a.m. Police received a request to do a next of kin notification on an individual in Warman. The caller requested that police attend a residence to advise of the death of a family member. Police attended the residence and advised the family. July 23, 2019 at 11:35 a.m. Police received a complaint of a male laying in the ditch on Highway 16 near Warman. The caller was concerned as it was very hot outside. Police attended the location, but did not locate any people in the area. There were no further calls received. July 24, 2019 at 12:35 a.m. Police received a complaint of an overdue traveller. The caller advised that a family member was overdue arriving and they were concerned. A short time later, the 23 year old male was located safe and sound. July 24, 2019 at 6:20 a.m. Police received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle on Highway 16 near Maymont. Police attended and found that 2 tourists from France had parked on the side of the road to have a rest. There were no charges. July 24, 2019 at 12:15 p.m. Police received a complaint of a suspicious male in Delisle. The caller reported that the male was wandering around town and acting suspiciously. Police attended and spoke to the 52 year old male from Red Deere. He was looking for a doctor in the town. Police provided him a ride to Saskatoon to the hospital. There were no charges. July 26, 2019 at 11:25 a.m. Police received a request for a well being check on an female in Warman. The caller was concerned for their elderly friend. Police attended the residence and spoke with the 89 year old female, who advised she was safe and sound. July 26, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. Police received a complaint of a possible assault on Valley Road. The caller reported that there was a male and a female on the side of the road and thought it was maybe an assault. Police attended and spoke with the 50 year old male and 46 year old female from Saskatoon. There was no assault that occurred. There were no charges or injuries. July 26, 2019 at 11:00 p.m. Police received a complaint of a disturbance at a residence in Delisle. Police attended the residence and arrested a 29 year old male in the residence. He was held in custody for court on a number of assault related charges. There were no injuries. July 28, 2019 at 8:20 a.m. Police received a complaint of a missing person in Martensville. The caller was concerned as they could not locate a family member. A short time later, Police were able to contact the 59 year old male. He was not missing. Warman RCMP is advising residents of Radisson and surrounding areas that Radisson RCMP office will be open starting August 7th, 2019. The hours that the office will be open are: Mondays 8:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Wednesdays 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Fridays 8:30 a.am.-11:45 a.m. Warman RCMP that the SASKATCHEWAN CRIME WATCH ADVISORY NETWORK is operating . Warman July 31st, 2019 @ 10:00 o’clock RCMP members will be at Warman McDonalds Restaurant for a chance to ask questions and to get to know the police officers in your city. Everyone is invited to attend. Martensville RCMP are advising residents of Martensville that “Coffee with a Cop” is at Tim Horton’s in Martensville. Martensville July 30th, 2019 @ 10:00 o’clock RCMP members will be at Martensville Tim Hortons for a chance to ask questions and to get to know the police officers in your city. Everyone is invited to attend. Section 213(1) of the Traffic Safety Act refers: Drive without due care and attention. The fine for this infraction is $280.00.
