It may be mid-summer, but the volunteers with the Warman Community Association (WCA) are hard at work. The volunteer group is preparing for their annual Craft & Bake Sale in November. WCA President/Chairperson, Kaitlin Riley, leads the group and organizes the event planning and vendor registrations.
The non profit organization works to raise funds for various initiatives to help enrich the community throughout the city of Warman. One of their hallmark priorities is to ensure that all funds raised stay within our community through the support of programming or infrastructure projects.
"The Craft & Bake Sale will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 9 am to 3 pm. We host unique local vendors and their goods for a fantastic event!" says Riley, "We are 60% sold already!" The event features local crafters and bakers that usually do not have a venue or forum to display and sell their unique creations to a large market. The event is well attended in mid-November as people are looking to find gifts for the Christmas season. A limited number of multi-level marketing companies and products are allowed, however, they are limited to one table from each company.
Riley notes that while table registrations are brisk, she still has room for more vendors to sign up. Vendors can complete theregistration form online and submit them electronically to secure their spot. Visit the website registration page for more details.
